I am Ki-Uk Kyung (경기욱 in Korean) and a research scientist investigating human-computer
interaction. My major interests are peripheral/central human sensory
responses occurred during interactive tasks and their applicability to
human-computer interface. Recently, I have developed an interactive stylus
named ‘Ubi-Pen’ providing touch
cues while using it on a touch screen. (Korean version is here or here.) I have spent my
twenties for B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in KAIST from 1995 to 2005.
Since 2006, I have been a senior research scientist at ETRI.
In February 2008, I was dispatched as a visiting scientist to the Research
Laboratory of Electronics(RLE) at MIT.
Additionally, I am an adjunct professor of department of computer
software and Engineering at UST and a member
representing Korea
in International organization for Standardization (ISO)
TC159/SC4/WG9.
